Consider having not one, but two WhatsApp accounts. You’re in luck, since we’re releasing a feature today that allows you to utilize two WhatsApp accounts at the same time. This feature is quite useful for seamlessly moving between your business and personal profiles without having to log in and out or carry two separate phones.
It’s simple to set up a second WhatsApp account. You will only need a second phone number and a SIM card, or a phone that supports multi-SIM or eSIM. Simply go to your WhatsApp settings, click the arrow next to your name, and then choose “Add account.” You have complete control over each of your accounts’ privacy and notification settings.
A quick reminder: only use the official WhatsApp app and avoid installing unapproved or counterfeit versions in order to add more accounts to your phone. When you use the official WhatsApp app, your messages are secure and private.

2. Let’s Dive Into the AI World

Today, at Meta’s annual Connect conference, they introduced a number of AI products and capabilities that will soon be available on WhatsApp. We’re excited about Generative AI’s potential to boost creativity, productivity, and enjoyment simply by communicating. Given the volume of interactions taking place on WhatsApp, our goal is to make this developing technology available to individuals all around the world.
We’re starting this road of experimentation with three new AI services powered by Meta, which are now available for testing in chats with friends and family by chosen users:
AI Stickers: You may now create personalized stickers for your chat that perfectly convey your thoughts or ideas.
AI Chats: Using Meta’s AI, you may ask questions in your group chat to obtain insights on various issues or settle disagreements, even receiving responses from a variety of unique AI characters.
Photorealistic Image Generation: Using the command “/imagine,” AIs can generate visuals representing ideas, places, or people.
For those new to Generative AI, we’ve highlighted the fundamentals to ensure your privacy is protected. Importantly, your personal messages with friends and family remain private because they are end-to-end encrypted and cannot be seen by anybody, even Meta.
Furthermore, we are eager to support businesses in providing high-quality services using their preferred AI. We’re presently working behind the scenes with partners and will release more information in the coming months.

We’re releasing numerous new capabilities to streamline interactions with businesses in WhatsApp chats today at our global Conversations event in Mumbai.
Flows for faster chat experiences:
We’re introducing “Flows,” which will allow businesses to provide seamless experiences such as selecting a train seat, purchasing food, or booking appointments without leaving your chat. Businesses can give extensive options and configurable forms to meet a variety of demands. In the next-weeks, we will make Flows available to businesses all across the world through the WhatsApp Business Platform.

4. Choose Your Payment Service:
We’re making it easier to make purchases directly within the conversation. People in India can now add things to their cart and pay using a variety of methods, including UPI apps, debit and credit cards, and more, beginning today. We’re working with partners Razorpay and PayU to make payments easier within WhatsApp.

5. Meta Verified Business on
We are enabling businesses to receive Meta verification, assuring users that they are communicating with the correct firm. To become “Meta Verified,” organizations must establish their validity in exchange for a verified emblem, increased account support, and impersonation protection. Premium features for Meta Verified businesses include the opportunity to develop a bespoke WhatsApp page that is easily discoverable via web search and multi-device support for quick client response.
Meta Verified will be tested with small firms on the WhatsApp Business app soon, with intentions to expand it to businesses on the WhatsApp Business Platform later.
